We have developed a number of websites and apps over the years for various applications, normally to "scratch our own itch".

Metric Conversion

Our popular unit converion site. Translated in 57 languages, www.metric-conversions.org, is used by over a quarter of a million people every day helping them convert between measurement units, you've probably used it before yourself!

Accompanying this site are phone apps for Apple and Android which allow you to convert offline as well as live currency conversion.

Channel Hopper

Ever wanted to watch a film or TV program but don't know which streaming service it is available on? www.channelhopper.org allows you to search all the popular streaming services and find out where you can watch it. It will also tell you if it's a paid for offering and how much it will cost.

In addition, we have built a recommendation engine to show you similar titles to the one you have selected.

Find Cheap Fuel

This is one for drivers in the United Kingdom. Search for a location using a town name or a selection on the map and findcheapfuel.com will show you the current fuel prices in the area. Updated every minute, never pay too much to fill your tank again.

Tide Tables

Living on the Isle of Wight we accept that this site will be more relevent for people on the coast than the larger population. www.tidetable.org provides you with tide information as well as water pollution status. This site updates realtime from the Admiralty data, DEFRA and Surfers Against Sewage.

Floaty Finder

Even more specific to life on the Isle of Wight, floatyfinder.org gives the status and position of the floating bridge (chain ferry) from Cowes to East Cowes. We have rigged up AIS recievers attached to a Rasperry Pi to monitor the ferry and feed this into our server to create an easy to use graphical display.

We have also created an Apple app which will provide you with out of service alerts.

Geek Tools

Over time we have built a number of simple tools that we use all the time - we are geeks after all! geektools.org will help you search DNS, generate QR codes, translate Epoch time and anything else we make to stick on there. Suggestions most welcome!

The List Site

Create a list for anything whether it be shopping, wish lists, packing lists or acts performed at the Isle of Wight festival. With thelistsite.org you can privately share lists, make them collaborative or make them public. Use it for what you want, it does what it says on the tin.
